Every Adventure Requires a First Step

April 12 PM class. Our spring walk down by the river on the Redcliff side.

We met other people biking ride or walking their dogs on this trail.

Without collaboration our growth is limited to our own perspectives.

A quick snapshot of our last art lesson with Annette. We started with big brushes and paint and slowly added more and more lays to it. Every once in a while we had to rotate around the piece of cardboard to start in a new area (the first one was difficult but after that it wasn't "mine" it was "OURS") We had paint, sawdust, sugar, chalk, and some different tools.

Life is one grand, sweet song

After a long day of learning it is nice to relax as we listen to some interesting music made from brooms. (STOMP) 

Hmm, I wonder if we can make our own music using found/created instruments?

"This is sticky! I think I should wash my hands."

Egg decorating in ELP was messy business. We used corn syrup, chocolate syrup, feathers, glitter, googly eyes, nest filler, stickers and anything else that would stick! 

Lots of interesting supplies to make nests for our eggs. Feathers, sticks, yarn, paper, bowls, pipe cleaners, toothpicks, and moss. 

Family Night March 22

Thank you to all the families who made it out to our family night! It was a lot of fun. Here are some pictures of our Physical Therapist's game and our Speech Pathologist's story walk. 

Picking out a colour. We had to follow 5 stations and read the story the gingerbread man, at each station we collected something. At the end we use all the parts to make a gingerbread man to take home!
